TME has developing a structure plan for the Kemerton Industrial Park north-east of Bunbury. The structure plan is intended to balance industrial development with management of environmental values and landscape impact. Past environmental studies, including remnant vegetation and water management, had received a level of support from government, but such support also signalled the need for an imaginative design response at the structure plan stage.
he end product will be a structure plan that the Client can use to inform stakeholders and the community of the vision for Kemerton and how it will be achieved, provide an important tool to market Kemerton Industrial Park to candidate industries, and provide the framework for future detailed planning and design as the needs of particular industries arise.
