Harvey Industrial Area

In an effort to promote expansion of industry opportunities in Harvey, the Harvey Shire Council undertook an expansion of its existing industrial area.

TME were engaged as Town Planners, Project Managers and Engineers for the estate.

The initial stage of 10 lots created new opportunities for Industries to establish in Harvey and have been well received. Level building sites with full servicing provides an attractive incentive to industry to relocate or establish in the area.

Due to the large anticipated stormwater flows off the lots an extended detention basin was constructed within the estate. Tight site limitations required a steep sided fenced sump where revetment mattress has been extensively used in inlet and outlet structures to minimise construction costs.

Existing roads within the adjoining industrial estate were also upgraded and the open drainage system converted to a fully piped system with property connections made available to all lots.
