Bayview, Coral Bay

TME has been engaged to assist in undertaking master planning for redevelopment of Bayview Coral Bay.

Bayview is the largest tourist accommodation complex within Coral Bay and provides accommodation ranging from unpowered tent sites to fully serviced chalets.

The challenge before TME was to provide for staged redevelopment, allowing ongoing operations to proceed, while creating a tourist resort which was an integral part of the townsite and recognises the severe constraints imposed by near desert conditions, proximity to the fragile Ningaloo Reef and limitations imposed by servicing availability. Thompson McRobert Edgeloe has produced a plan which provides for short term redevelopment in a configuration and style which recognises local character and environmental constraints.

The plan gives the clients the confidence to proceed with staged development in the context of an agreed Master Plan.
