Bunbury Trotting Track Development

In 2002, Thompson McRobert Edgeloe was awarded the Institution of Engineers Australia Western Australian Division Engineering Excellence Award for the Bunbury Trotting Track Development. Since this time, Thompson McRobert Edgeloe has undertaken track reconstructions for Harness Racing Victoria in Terang, Shepparton, Yarra Glen, Charlton, Moonee Valley, Bendigo and Melton. The tracks are designed to generate low stress on the horses and are resulting in some fast times to date. Two world records were set at the 2007 opening of the Bendigo Track.


Dalyellup Beach Estate

In 1999, Thompson McRobert Edgeloe was presented with a commendation in the Planning and Development category of the Royal Australian Planning Institute (WA) or the preparation of the Dalyellup Beach Estate Local Structure Plan.The Dalyellup Beach Estate Local Structure Plan went on to win a National Royal Australian Planning Institute award for Excellence in Planning in 2000.The citation of the award stated that “Community aspirations and contemporary urban design have inspired a spacious and a relaxed country lifestyle choice for the Dalyellup Beach Estate. The best environmental features are protected with new urban forms of this attractive coastal village. Community commitment, seen through earlier district planning phases and the community workshops, has been an important influence in the final village design and the retention of significant areas of native forest, understorey and groundcover.Dalyellup Beach Estate was also recognised by the Urban Development Institute of Australia , Western Australian Division, acknowledging the achievement of excellence in Residential Development 250 lots or more award in 2001.In 2002, TME was presented with the Special Commendation Award of the Planning Institute of Western Australia, Western Australian Division for Urban Design Built: Dalyellup Beach Estate.


Windy Harbour Management Plan

In 1998 Thompson McRobert Edgeloe secured the Royal Australian Planning Institute (WA) Occasional Special Award for the preparation of the Windy Harbour Management Plan.


South West Region Small Business Award

In 1997, Thompson McRobert Edgeloe was awarded the Most Innovative Enterprise Award in the Telstra WA Small Business Development Corporation awards.Since this time, TME staff numbers have grown to 23.
